“Living with TBI: A Conversation on Working, Socializing & Thriving,” Africa Room in the Student Union, Duquesne University (1000 Locust St, Pittsburgh, PA 15219). Light refreshments followed by program. The term “Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)” was largely unknown until recently, when veterans of Iraq and Afghanistan began returning home with head injuries that disrupted brain function. This community conversation will focus on those who’ve experienced TBI and have learned not only to live with it, but to thrive. Join us for an inspirational evening of stories. Discounted $6 parking @Forbes Parking Garage. RSVP to ellie@veteransbreakfastclub.com or 412-623-9029
