Operation Babylift and “The Last Flight Out” of Vietnam with Pan Am Staff and Veterans

Over ninety-percent of the 2.7 million service members who served in Vietnam arrived on commercial airlines. Those flights, plus transports for R&R and the “Last Flights Out” on April 28, 1975, were staffed by civilian personnel, such as those joining us on VBC Happy Hour on Monday, August 8. Our guests will be Pan American World Airways flight attendants, plus Al Topping, who organized the final flight out of Saigon.
