Screening of We Were Soldiers at the Heinz History Center and a conversation with Dennis Deal, a veteran of the Battle of the Ia Drang and a technical advisor to the movie. Todd will interview and invite questions from the audience for Dennis Deal, a Mt. Lebanon native who served as leader of the 3rd platoon, Bravo Company, of the 7th Cavalry in the Battle of the Ia Drang Valley in November 1965 in Vietnam. Dennis will talk about his combat experiences, and we will discuss the movie.
