“Stories from Women Veterans”

In June 1948, Congress passed the Women’s Armed Services Integration Act, which enabled women to serve as permanent members of the US Armed Forces. In partnership with the Veterans Leadership Program, the VBC is celebrating this anniversary by listening to the stories of our women veterans, including 99-year-old Navy WAVE Julia Parsons, who worked as a codebreaker on Enigma in WWII.
