To commemorate the 75^thAnniversary of D-Day, the VBC with the Heinz History Center invites you to a talk with artifacts by Curator of History Leslie Przybylek on Pittsburgh’s role in the Normandy Invasion. We will then have veterans involved in D-Day share their memories and stories from June 6, 1944. Doors to the evening program will open to the public at 6 p.m., and attendees will have after-hours access to the History Center’s newest exhibition, The Vietnam War: 1945-1975, as well as light refreshments ahead of the program.
