The name “George” derives from the Greek word for “earthworker.” George Kohn’s father gave him that name expecting he would take over the family’s Wisconsin dairy farm. Instead, George escaped the bonds of earth, flying over 200 missions in the iconic F-4 fighter over Vietnam in 1970. His excellent memoir, Vector to Destiny, is as much about the American Dream as the Air War in Vietnam. George will share stories about both tonight on VBC Happy Hour.
