Join us for our second in-person VBC breakfast at Pitt-Greensburg campus (Hempfield Room, Chambers Hall, Finoli Drive, Greensburg, PA 15601) on Saturday, November 4, 8:30pm-10:30pm. The buffet breakfast is FREE, and everyone is welcome, including non-veterans.

Breakfast will be served  at 8:30am, and the stories will begin at 9:00am. We’ll continue with the program until 10:30am.

At our last breakfast on UPG campus in May, we heard stories from four generations of veterans, from World War II to the present.

We expect a large crowd on November 4, and please join us. You never know what you’re going to hear, and there’s always new people with new memories to offer.

Join us the Veterans Breakfast Club and UPMC for Life for a special Veterans Day Week FREE breakfast to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the VBC!

The event will feature former Pittsburgh Steeler and Vietnam Veteran Rocky Bleier and other veterans sharing their stories of service. We’ll also have raffle baskets, auction items, swag bag giveaways, and other veterans organizations and service providers with information and materials for veterans and their families.

Doors will open at 7:30am, and breakfast will be served starting at 8:00am. Then, we’ll start our program of speakers, storytellers, and presenters.

After the program ends at 11:00am, guests will be welcome to socialize and visit with the organizations set up to connect and share information.

The event is FREE, but reservations are required!

Our first Penn Hills breakfast was back in 2009, and it’s been a lively location ever since with an unusual number of World War II veterans still attending regularly. At our breakfast on September 8, Pine-Richland High School’s Air Force JROTC cadets presented the colors and did a flag-folding ceremony. They then presented the flag to the oldest veteran in attendance, 102-year-old Julia Parsons, who worked as a code breaker during WWII.

Join us in Penn Hills and meet veterans  of all eras, ages, and branches of service.

It’s a new location in 2023: Beulah Presbyterian Church (2500 McCrady Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15235) right off the Parkway in Churchill.

Instead of an early breakfast, we’re doing light refreshments–coffee and Danish–at no charge. The event begins at 10:00am with food service and socializing, and then we’ll start our program at 10:30am and continue the storytelling to 12:00pm noon.

As always, everyone is welcome, and you don’t need to be a veteran to attend.

We’re back at Christ Church Grove Farm on Wednesday, November 29 at 8:30am for our always fascinating, enjoyable, and poignant Veterans Breakfast Club in-person breakfast program.

You’ll walk in, pick up your name badge, pay $15 if you plan to eat (no cost for those who don’t), and meet others who are there to hear and share the stories. Breakfast is served at 8:30am. At 9:00am, we start the program. For the next 90 minutes, we circulate the room with the microphone and have veterans share a slice of their service experience. You never know what you’re going to hear, and there’s always new people with new memories to offer.
