98-year-old Ken Lett flew Spitfire missions with from 1942 through D-Day to the end of the war. 96-year-old Jack Reid sailed the North Atlantic on the HMCS Longueil. 97-year-old Don White fought up the boot of Italy, then in southern France, Belgium, and Holland with the Royal Canadian Dragoons. And 97-year-old Jim Parks stayed alive through sheer luck after landing without a rifle on Juno Beach before the first wave on D-Day, June 6, 1944.
