Join the Veterans Breakfast Club for a special livestream screening of Tribute to Our Fallen Brothers, an 80-minute documentary created by members of the United States Military Academy Class of 1966. The film tells the story of a West Point class shaped by war, following their journey from cadets in 1962 through the Vietnam War and beyond—with a solemn focus on the classmates they lost.
In Vietnam, these young officers faced a brutal baptism by fire. Many became platoon leaders or company commanders, responsible for leading men in deadly jungle warfare against a highly motivated and elusive enemy. Of the 579 graduates of the Class of 1966, at least 29 graduates were killed in Vietnam, along with additional former classmates, and one lost later in Korea. This film brings their stories forward through firsthand reflections, memory, and a lifelong commitment to remembrance.
Following the screening, stay with us for a live conversation and Q&A featuring members of the Class of 1966, family members, and others connected to the film. Together, we’ll reflect on the making of the documentary, the enduring bonds of the Long Gray Line, and what it means to honor the fallen “in perpetuity.”
This program continues a years-long effort by the Class of 1966 to preserve the memory of their fallen brothers, including the creation of a legacy endowment at West Point that ensures future generations remember their names and stories.
