Join us for a wide-ranging, unscripted conversation about the Second World War—its battles and home fronts, its controversies and myths, its ordinary soldiers and extraordinary moments.
We’re holding a 90-minute open forum led by Glenn Flickinger. We invite participants to shape the program. Bring your questions about strategy or equipment. Share a family story. Raise an issue. Or simply listen and learn from others who have spent a lifetime studying and remembering this history.
Our community includes WWII veterans, sons and daughters, researchers, collectors, teachers, and serious students of the war. The discussion is informed but informal, respectful but candid.
If you have photographs, artifacts, or documents, you’re welcome to show them. If you’ve been researching a particular unit or battle, bring what you’ve found. If you’re just curious about a question that’s nagged at you for years, ask it.
The VBC is about conversation across generations and perspectives. We’re thoughtful people gathered to explore one of the most consequential events in human history.
