Story:

Earned two letters of commendation during training with 196th Light Infantry Brigade. Won Javelin throw at Battalion track meet.
Discarded medications for PTSD and became competitive athlete.
Won Mr. New England and North East America Body-Building titles. Competitive runner for 17 years. Completed 6 Marathons. .Won 50’s division at Empire State Building run-up defeating 18 world competitors in 2001. Competed for 8 years. Won silver medal at Lake Placid in Summer Biathlon competition. Awarded Bronze Medal at World Indoor Rowing Championships in 2020 in 50’s division at 74 years old. Established a new American and World record on Concept-2 rowing machine for male over 70 years old. Became Chaplain of five veterans organizations. Founded disabled veterans kayaking program.
Vice president of Greater Middletown Military Museum. Inducted into State of Connecticut Veterans Hall of Fame 2021.
