Robert Ratonyi was six years old in 1944 when Nazi occupiers introduced Phase One of the Final Solution in Hungary. His parents wound up in concentration camps, while he survived in Budapest’s Jewish ghetto. “This is not a pleasant thing to talk about,” he says. “Every time I do, I’m transported back to that time. But I do it because I have an obligation.” Listen as Robert Ratonyi bears witness to history that must never be forgotten.
