Peggy Simpson – Author of Mental Camouflage
Peggy Simpson is not a veteran. She doesn’t come from a military family. She admits that she’s not even an author. However, Peggy befriended James, a former Corporal in the Ulster Defense Regiment in Ireland. James is a veteran of the Troubles, a Northern Ireland conflict between Protestants and Catholics that occurred between 1968 and 1998. Through Peggy, James wishes to get his story of recovery out. From an early age he experienced a series of traumatic events which has led to him developing Complex PTSD. But James hasn’t let that destroy his life.
