This is where PACT for Animals steps in. PACT is a nonprofit dedicated to providing temporary foster homes for the pets of deployed military personnel, Veterans, and those undergoing critical medical treatment at no cost to the pet owner. PACT operates in all 50 U.S. states, and has placed over 4,000 pets with screened fosters in the 12 years they’ve been operating. By offering a safe and loving environment, PACT ensures that these pets are cared for until they can be reunited with their owners.
As a veteran, you have a unique opportunity to continue serving your fellow service members by becoming a foster. You can provide the stability and care these pets need while their owners are away. This is Noodles and her owner who is in the National Guard and received last-minute deployment orders to go to Kuwait. With PACT’s help, he no longer has to worry about his cat while he serves.
He-A’s human needed to complete training for the Marines and didn’t have anyone to care for his best bud. That’s where PACT and our amazing team of fosters came in. He-A is happy with his foster, who are in constant communication with Dad so he gets updates on his buddy. It’s another amazing PACT success story.
