November 22, 2014 – Spring Valley Community (Farmington, PA)

On November 22, 2014 the Veterans Breakfast Club held a storytelling breakfast at the Spring Valley Community in Farmington, Pennsylvania. The event was hosted by VBC executive director Todd DePastino.  Audiography: Kevin Farkas.

Featuring the voices and stories of Leo Zimmerman, Natalie Yaksick, Violet Baird, Nancy Hrback , Florence “Shutsy” Reynolds, Bob Greenwood, Delbert Hager, Jim Marker, Bob Grimplin, Pam Marker, Ray Werner, Bob Moore, Bill Spaw, Manuel Carvahlo, Phil Gattis, Allen, and many more.

This event was made possible by support from the Spring Valley Community and our sponsors, donations from the public, and assistance from VBC volunteers. The mission of the Veterans Breakfast Club is to create communities of listening around veterans and their stories. We accomplish this through public storytelling programs where veterans of all eras can share their
memories and build camaraderie.
