In December 2024, I was contacted by the producer of this program at Fox NATION. I recommended and provided the service stories of many Korean War veterans. These are the veterans they chose and were interviewed for this program:

Mr. James Sharp- US Army Veteran- fought from early in the war from Pusan Perimeter all the way into North Korea at Battle of Unsan
Mr Marvin Dunn- US Marine Corps Veteran – fought at Punchbowl, lost his leg and eye during battle.
Mr. Cecil Phipps- US Army veteran – fought in the Battle of Pusan Perimeter and all the way into North Korea, captured and became Prisoner of War for 33 months.
Mr. Roy Wagner- US Navy veteran served as a sonarman on USS Halsey Powell and participated in Task Force 77
Col. Tom Kirk (Retired)- US Air Force veteran – fighter pilot – flew on missions to identify enemy targets for artillery units and also in MiG alley North Korea
Mr. Howard Taylor- US Marine Corps Veteran – fought at Battle of Chosin Reservoir
Mr. Sal Scarlato- US Marine Corps Veteran – US Marine Corps veteran fought at Bunker HIll, Outpost battles (Vegas, Reno, Carson)
Mr. George Sousa – US Army Veteran – fought at the Battle of Bloody Ridge and Battle of Heartbreak Ridge (he was already interviewed before I recommended him)
I thank Sherri Steward for her assistance in coordinating the interview setup for Mr. Kinard, Mr. Sharp and Mr. Dunn, in Dallas, Texas. Sadly, Mr. Dunn passed away in April, just 3 months after the filming. I am grateful that he was able to share his experiences and that his legacy lives on.
My special thanks to Ashley Serriani, the producer of this program and the team at FOX NATION for giving voice to our Korean War veterans and of their war experiences.
I thank God every day for all of you, our Korean War veterans and families of fallen heroes, who made immeasurable sacrifices for me and for all Koreans to be able to live in freedom. We Koreans can never thank you enough and we thank you forever. I will continue to do all I can to ensure the heroes and history of the Korean War will always be honored and remembered.
I pray that as people watch this program across the country, there will be a deeper understanding and appreciation of America’s Korean War veterans.
May God always bless our Korean War veterans, families of fallen heroes, and Korea Defense Veterans.
With everlasting love, gratitude, and respect,
Susan
