Bob Guenther entered the US Navy in September 1942. He served as a radio man aboard the USS Antwan, USS Monrovia, and HMS Alhstar Queen

Age 92, on Tuesday, April 22, 2014, of Whitehall. Husband of 65 years to Helen Milkovich; father of Nancy (Michael) Dougherty and Carol (John) Fleming; grandfather of Luke and John Jr. Fleming; brother of Richard (Bernice) Guenther; also survived by nieces and nephews. Robert was a U.S. Navy WWII veteran. The family would like to extend appreciation to the Celtic Hospice for their compassion and care during Bob’s illness. Arrangements made by JOHN F. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2014, at noon at Sunset Hills United Presbyterian Church, 900 Country Club Drive, Mt. Lebanon, PA 15228.
